Initial Concept
Water problem is becoming a significant problem for future Rotterdam. The expo pavilion we want to design should answer to this fast changing problem. So water is the main element in this design. We present 2 possible site near the sluice that are both possible to let the water flow through the building. The sub-themes we want develop are purification of the water that come from river, urban area and industrial ports, water filtration, water energy generation, flood adaption, water exchange of the area, etc. These themes should become a hybrid system integrated with the pavilion that can be exhibited to people in an expo.
