Tectonic Tiles
We saw this weeks assignment as an opportunity to bring our previous ideas to the next level. Instead of creating 4 different interactive installations we now want to combine those 4 into one system. In this new system multiple configurations will be possible, for instance islands (to experience the melting problem), theater and other seating furniture. To make a prototype we sellected and zoomed in on 4 tiles from this new system. These tiles move up and down depending on the intensity of light hovering above it. In reality the LDR's and electronic motors will be replaced by 3D-tracking and hydraulic pumps.
