Team GOUDA _ My name is Krzysztof. I am a Polish student in my 3rd year of BSc in Computer Science and Engineering. I love sports like swimming or football, writing software and long walks. I lived in the Netherlands for 9 years and I know the struggle of adapting to the new environment and that’s I hope to help students acclimate as fast as possible while creating friendships and connection that will last throughout the IP students’ studies (no matter if it’s just Exchange or Master program). I would be enthusiastic to answer questions during and after the IP. If it’s not the exam period, feel free DM me. Oh, did I mention my hidden talent? (Be there at IP’s got talent to find out 😂) #IPSUMMER2019 #CoachIntroduction2019

@tudelft is a good place for developing yourself. But to say that you are in Delft just to study, would be an understatement. Everyone has something they do for fun, to blow off steam or broaden themselves. Do you want to get the most of everyday life? Do you want to do Sports? Express yourself? Go on Adventures? Relax all the way? Connect with different people and views? Or do you just want to hangout at an awesome event? Then make sure to visit SEARCH @X and find out all possibilities for yourself!

Team PURMEREND _ Greetings newcomers, My name is Vishaal, your coach for the entirety of this Introduction programme and I look forward to meet you all soon. I am a 187 cm tall, Indian guy pursuing a Masters in Mechanical Engineering who loves classic R&B, photography, adventure sports and travelling in general. So, if you ever want to engage in a game of Basketball or a hiking trip, hit me up. Or the easiest way to connect to my soul would be through food and drinks😉. So, what do you expect? Do you feel lucky to be part of this? There’s going to be plenty of tasks, socialising and fun. In short, the answer would be Gezellig(Something you will hear a lot in your time here). As you are going to be new to the Dutch culture and the university in general, it is important for you to have the right frame of mind and make new friends cutting across cultures vastly different from what you are used to. This can be a daunting task, if you have never spent a considerable amount of time in a different country. The Dutch culture separates professional relationships from personal relationships and therefore, close friendships are built outside the academic environment. This programme facilitates the purpose of making long lasting relationships. Having spent a considerable amount of time in the Netherlands and encountering people from multiple countries, I have an idea as to the behaviour and functioning of the respective groups. The activities planned during our time here would address these issues breaking barriers and getting diverse groups close together. While doing so, we could explore different parts of the city, get to know the Dutch way of life, foods, places to chill and other engagements to check out alongside your studies. You would get to know more about our city when you arrive and this would push you to experience it for yourself.A unique sight would be a lot of bikes and canals across the country. I would be sure to recommend my own must try interests. In summary, our attitude and motto we expect would be: ‘Won’t frown, Won’t drown, Just uptown’ #IPSUMMER2019 #CoachIntroduction2019

Team ENSCHEDE _ Hello Newbies! I'm Devika and I am a Masters student at TU Delft. Well, moving to a new city can be overwhelming and at the same time challenging. Especially if it's Delft where it rains throughout the year. The IP lasts for a week. But your life in Delft would be almost a 100 weeks. So it makes sense to learn about the city, it's history, the places to chill and also the places to buy cheap right? That's what I offer you! So feel free to ask me about Delft, it's history, where to shop the cheapest and where to find some good place to get some coffee :P I look forward to see you guys at Delft and to keep you standing during (and after :P) the epic IP party! #IPSUMMER2019 #CoachIntroduction2019

During the introduction programme, I would like to learn about the culture and exciting places where you all come from and also I would like to share my local knowledge to give you a kickstart for your amazing journey in Delft. But let's first take a moment and bask in the glory of our beautiful library: ⠀
⠀
Library of TU Delft is an iconic landmark which despite its relatively young age, only 20 years old, has become the heart and soul of the campus. In the rare opportunities when the sun shines bright and there are no clouds in the sky, the students timidly leave their windowless studying chambers to enjoy the heat and good company under the watchful cone and lay their weary heads down on its green rooftop. ⠀

I like challenges and I like the competitive spirit (also dogs and doughnuts), but I'm also a very good listener and I always want to help. I'm openminded and like learning from other cultures so I would love to know about yours. During the IP I would love to share what I've learned this past year because it can get confusing. And I hope I can help you guys find some friends that will be your support in this new adventure, and of course have a lot of fun! ⠀
